Secondary Research
Most of these images are by Richard Sweeney. They are very detailed and very created, they are amazing and stunning to look at and they look very hard to create. I like the last one because of the space inside it, most of the paper has been cut away and because of it you can see the amazing detail inside it.
Secondary Research : Coral
I've Decided to research Coral because it is organic and very interesting. There are thousands of different types of coral and each one is different in its own way. The Brain Coral is the one i find more interesting becasue of the pattern on the outside which makes it look like a brain. This could be made using folds.
Primary Research
This is the Isklar water bottle i took two picture of the bottle but noticed the shape of it wasnt very clear in the images so i took one from the internet which showed the shape clearly. This shape looks very similar to one of the shapes that i created with paper on my last blog. This is very inspiring and i will develop this idea more.

Secondary Research
These images are very organic, so much detail and effort has been put into them. To me they all seem very complicated and very hard to create and im sure it took alot of time and patience getting it right. They are beautiful examples of paper cutting and im sure will influence me on my work.

Primary Research
These swirls are very organic and beautiful, this is a great design.
The next images are from the Winter Gardens, most of them are of folded leaves and flowers.
This is a very interesting picture the way the flower blossums and seperates into seperate sections. This could influence my designs alot.
These two pictures were taken at Meadowhall at one of the stores. The window display is made using paper, its very organic and beautiful. The paper has been transformed into flowers and the flowers seem to be folded over and cut out. This could really inspire me in my work.
Session 3
This was a sculpture i used from one whole piece of paper, all i did was fold over several times and stuck together using magic tape. This didnt take very long to do.
This is a little sculpture i made using triangles which i drew down on the paper and scored. I taped together with magic tape.
These are some other sculptures i made using simple designs and stuck together using magic tape.
